Kim Minjeong (Hangul: 김민정), also known as simply MinJeong (민정), formerly known as Sera (세라) and Taeeun (태은), is a singer. She is a former member of the girl groups PRECIOUS and I.G.
She is best known for her participation in the digital reality survival show Burn Up 30.
Career
2020-2021: I.G
Minjeong, then using the stage name Taeeun, was introduced as a member of the upcoming girl group I.G in 2020. She later changed her stage name to Sera.
Burn Up 30
In 2020, she participated in the digital reality survival show Burn Up 30, also known as Burn Up: Challenge to Billboard. She ended up placing first in the female team and was then tasked to release a song that entered the Billboard charts with the winner of the male team, Kim Ji Woong. She released the song "Sick of Love" in 2021.
2022-2023: PRECIOUS
In mid-October 2022, MinJeong was seen attending a fashion show part of Seoul Fashion Week. She attended that event with EunB and HanWoom as part of PRECIOUS, hinting that she had joined the group.[1]
Her departure was confirmed on June 22, 2023, through an article which confirmed PRECIOUS‘ lineup to consist of EunB, HanWoom and Min.[2]
