VXON (read as Vision; stylized in all caps) is a five-member Filipino boy group under Cornerstone Entertainment. The group composed of members C13, Franz, Patrick, Vince, and Sam made their official debut on January 7, 2022 with their first single The Beast.[1][2]
Tagged as the "Monsters of Philippine Pop", VXON has successfully released 19 original songs, a rendition of Jonathan Manalo's classic "Ikaw Na Na Na", and a stripped version of "Lisan". With their recent releases, VXON has embraced the sound of Filipino street music; drawing inspiration from this style while blending it with innovative elements of the P-pop genre.
VXON (Group Name)
VXON is pronounced as "Vision". The name literally means that the group of 5 individuals work together to fulfill the same set of goals and passions - they have the same vision of what they should do. Their motto is "Everything starts with a vision".[3]
The letters in the group name also have a meaning to the group. The letter "V" is the roman numeral for "five". It is for the 5 members of the group. The "X" stands for their different backgrounds, crossing of paths, and forming a group through a single vision.[2][4] The "ON" signifies what the members do before they perform. Whenever they feel nervous or whatever they are feeling on that moment, they remind themselves to "switch on" before they set foot on the stage and do their best to perform.
Fandom Name: Vixies
VIXIES is the fandom name for the supporters of VXON. The name came from the fans themselves and can be interpreted as "little VXONs".[2]
