Yamamoto Ruri (born February 16 ) is a Filipino-Japanese singer-songwrìter and dancer under UMUSIC Philippines. She is a former member of girl group R Rules, a re-branded group name of Japh Dolls.
Career
2018 - 2021: Japh Dolls
On 2018 she debuted with the girl group Japh Dolls under Viva Records. The group released their first single Magdamagan and in the year 2021, the group disbanded and it was confirmed that the group would debut again with another company.
2021 - 2023: R Rules
On November 5, 2021 it was announced that the group Japh Dolls will debut under MCA Music, and it is also the very first girl group of MCA Music Philippines. On November 24, 2021 she debuted again under the name R Rules and the group released their first single DNY or Don’t Need Your on available music stores or apps on the same day.
