R Rules is a three-member girl group under UMUSIC Philippines. Originally as a quartet, the group debuted on November 24, 2021, with their first single "DNY".
Career
2021: Debut with DNY
After the disbandment Japh Dolls, it was announced on November 5, that the group will re-debut as R Rules, under MCA Music (now known as UMUSIC Philippines). It was revealed that their lineup remained: Riyo, Risa, Rei and Ruri were introduced to the public. On November 24, they made their debut with their first song and digital single DNY, a hip hop and Japanese, Filipino-English song.
2022: "Girl Gang"
On July 1, 2022, the group officially made their first comeback with their second single "Girl Gang".[1]
2023: Ruri's departure
On September 20, 2023, the group announced the departure of Ruri due to personal circumstances and the group will move forward as a trio.[2]
