Background
On September 23, the group posted a photo on their Official SNS for their new single to be released on September 30.[1] The following day, the group revealed the title of the new single, it is titled "Dalawa" or in English is "Two".[2] On the same day, the group released the scheduler for their new single, "Dalawa".[3] From September 25-29, the group released individual concept photos. On September 30, the group officially released the single.[4][5]
Composition
"Dalawa" is described as a R&B melodies and mischievous sounds that harken back to the 2000s. The song relates to the idea of expressing affection in the most comforting, impressionable manner. It is also a song that tells a story familiar to many: catching unrequited feelings for someone close to you. The song is composed in the key of B major and carries an average tempo of 105 beats per minute.[6]
