Klutz (Japanese: ぶきよう, Hepburn: Bukiyou) is an Ability introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
Effect
Klutz prevents the effects of the Pokémon's held item, but does not negate items that increase Effort Values, Experience points, or friendship. Pokémon with Klutz still receive the speed drop from the Macho Brace and Power Items. They cannot use the moves Fling or Natural Gift. They can still Mega Evolve or undergo Primal Reversion with the right item. They can also use Z-Moves with a Z-Crystal. If a Pokémon with Klutz uses Judgment, Multi-Attack, or Techno Blast, it will be a normal-type move. The effects of the Everstone, Cleanse Tag, and Soothe Bell are not negated. Klutz has no effect outside of battle.
