Good Rod

The Good Rod is a key item introduced in Generation I.

Effect

The Good Rod is used for fishing. It has the same effect as an Old Rod, except it fishes in Pokémon that are generally stronger yet still weaker than those encountered using the Super Rod. The Good Rod is colored green, as shown from its bag sprite.
