Mika is a castaway within Pikmin 4. She can be found in a multitude of locations based on the player's progression, but tends to appear in caves. She is a schoolteacher at Alayon Academy on planet Neechki.
Story
Mika can be found in caves. She and her students crash landed on PNF-404 after joining the Uncharted Planet Tour through Satella Travel. She is the faculty supervisor of Alayon Academy's Planetary Science Club. Chewy asks you to rescue her for the Side Mission "A Tour without Tourists."
Mechanics
Mika provides the Side Mission "Find the Missing Students" and asks you to rescue all three of her students: Sheeba, Keesh, and Kaia. The mission rewards 50 raw materials. Please find my 3 students from the Alayon Academy Planetary Science Club! Their names are Sheeba, Keesh, and Kaia. I can't bear the thought of them stranded out there!

Dialogue
When interacting with the Player Character:
- "My students in the Planetary Science Club are good kids. They were so excited for this field trip. If I don't bring all three of them back safely, what will I tell their parents?!"
- "I became a teacher this year, right out of college. I...I still don't feel like I know what I'm doing half the time. And now I've put my students in danger... Agh! This is just so awful!"
- "I know I spend a lot of time apologizing... It's just that I feel so helpless and lost. I knew I wasn't the type of person who could be successful as a teacher. I'm not a good leader. Now look what's happened."
- "Sheeba told me she wants to be a teacher someday. I have a feeling she'll be better suited to it than I am. She got upset when I said as much and lectured me about saying such a thing in front of a student. I think I was right."
- "When the ship was about to crash, I was frantic. My memory of the whole ordeal is spotty. I do remember up to the point where I let my students escape. I returned to the ship's cabin... Then there was a loud noise... I think that's when I lost consciousness..."
- "Kaia calls me 'Meeki.' It's been a while since I've had a fun nickname like that. Sheeba gets upset with her. She insists it isn't respectful enough, but personally, I kind of like it."
- "I'm supposed to be the advisor, but... Keesh is far more independent and put together than me. When I accompany the club to different events, it must be hard to tell who's the teacher and who are the students.
- "Honestly, a teaching career was never that appealing to me. But after all of this... After how I felt knowing my students were safe again, I've decided to take my job more seriously. Thank you! This wouldn't have happened without you."
- "Before break started, the three of them came to me and said... 'Miss Mika! We'd love to take a field trip to that new planet!' I was flattered that they came to me. Although, I had to pay my own way, and that's left quite a sizable dent in my wallet."
- "I'm the supervisor of the Planetary Science Club, but I actually teach ethics. I honestly don't know that much about planetary science. I'm just not that familiar with the subject. It's a little embarrassing..."
When interacting with Oatchi:
- "Seeing how hard you work to fulfill your Rescue Pup duties inspires me to put more effort into my own responsibilities."
- "If I get home safely, maybe I'll get my own pet dog. You seem like a great companion."
