Crystal Nodule

Crystal Nodules are objects in Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 4. They are small crystalline pebbles that pose no threat to Pikmin on their own, but if there is a Skutterchuck nearby, it may pick up a Crystal Nodule and throw it at the Pikmin to try and crush them.

Rock Pikmin are unaffected by a Crystal Nodule, and if one falls onto a Rock Pikmin, it stays buried for a few seconds before springing up from beneath the Crystal Nodule, shattering it.

In Pikmin 4, they can also be destroyed by the Pebble Pitcher or Oatchi's Rush ability.
