Bio
Mama mer-pup is the mother of baby mer-pup. Both live in an underwater city called Puplantis. Both, including the rest of the mer-pups, are not able to speak like the PAW Patrol pups. They have the unique ability to turn land pups into mer-pups simply by touching noses with them. From Season 2 to Season 4, this was only possible during the "mer-pup moon", and the pup would remain a mer-pup until sunrise. However, as of Season 9, this seems to no longer be the case as Coral, a land pup who was turned into a mer-pup, is able to stay a mer-pup indefinitely.
In the Aqua Pups sub-series, mama mer-pup and her baby are almost always seen with Coral, and will usually go to her for help if there is trouble nearby.
Personality
Mama mer-pup seems to have a worrisome personality to her as she seems to panic whenever her baby is in danger, but she will still do all she can for her pup before going to get help. Because she can't speak any language other than dog-speak, it is very unlikely that anyone, besides Cap'n Turbot and Coral, will understand her by those standards. However, later on, she shows a much braver side and is willing to help her friends to keep her home safe and in order.
She also seems to be very playful as she always sings, dances, and participates in mer-pup celebrations with her baby.
Appearance
Mama mer-pup has purple fur that lightens at the bottom of her shaggy ears, tufts atop her head, and light purple fur around her face, on her chest, and her two front paws. She has blue eyes, small black eyebrows, a large black nose, and a yellow fish tail with a jagged purple streak around the center as well as purple markings near the tips. She wears a lavender collar with a gold tag attached.
