It's my unfinished prototype for the Hankerbot. Uses deterministic machine-intuiting algos to figure out things people like. Every day it can figure out what someone probably wants so you can give it to them.
~ Rugnolia on Hankerbot

The Hankerbot was invented by Rugnolia to predict what the Badgetown residents might want each day to increase friendship with them.[1]

Fixing Hankerbot

When the Player reaches Level 4, the Tinstle Task "Help Set up The Hankerbot" will become available. To fix Hankerbot the Player will need 15 nurnies, 1 oobsidian, 5 quibs, 1 seaplop, 2 clothlets, and 3 sporbets to train the Hankerbot's algorithm.[2]

Hankers

Churles Hanker

A hanker is an item that one of the befriendable Badgetown residents has a strong desire for. Each morning, the Hankerbot will predict which character has a hankering that day (as there is only one hanker request per day), and will mail the results to the Player.[3] After opening the letter, the daily hanker can also be found in the Grumboire under the Frenz! tab. The desired item is displayed in a thought bubble next to the sprite of the character with the hanker; selecting them will also display a new tab on their page that says "Today's Hanker". Possible hankers include forageables, food (including crops, processed ingredients, cooked treabies, and drinks), and materials.

To fulfil a hankering, the Player must obtain the item and put it in their toolbelt, then walk up to the character with the item selected and press E (PC) or B (Xbox/Switch). Upon fulfilling the hanker, the Player will receive 50 friendship points.
