Nurnies (singular Nurny) are a fundamental building material in Ooblets (game).
Obtaining
Early on in the game, Arah will send the Player 3 nurnies in the mail, along with a letter explaining that nurnies can be found by smashing rocks on the Player's Farm.[1] This is by far the easiest way to collect nurnies.
Piles of nurnies can be obtained through Sea Dangling in the Badgetown Ocean or Droneydrip Pond (after developing the Wildlands to level 6). They can also occasionally be won as rewards for completing Dance Barn tournaments.
Once the Wildlands have been developed to level 10, the Player will be given access to Nurnycrop Crag, where they can farm nurnies.
Outside of Badgetown, single nurnies can be found by breaking the rocks on Tippy Top Mountain and on the Ephemeral Ooblet Vacation Spot.
Uses
Nurnies are used to fix up a lot of things in town. Here are a few examples:
- 10x Nurnies are needed to complete the Tinstle Task "Fix the Friendship Sticker Printypress".
- 12x Nurnies are needed to complete the Tinstle Task "Fix Gimble's Balloon".
- 12x Nurnies are needed to complete the Tinstle Task "Reopen the Dance Barn".
- 8X Nurnies are needed to complete the Tinstle Task "Repair the Old Abandoned Farmhouse".
- 20x Nurnies are needed to complete the Tinstle Task "Help Build the Mimpins Clubhouse".
Trivia
- Nurnies appear as green springs in the Player's inventory, but when being picked up can appear as many different objects, most being garbage/papers.
