Fukegao (フケガオ Fukegao) was a genius scientist who developed the Biceps Brachii King steroid, which turned his brother Marugori into a mutated giant. He was accidentally killed by Marugori.[1]
Appearance
Fukegao was a slim, pale man with wrinkles. He had thin black hair parted in the middle, draping along the sides of his long face. He wore typical scientist attire, a long white lab coat over a regular black shirt.
Personality
Fukegao had an insatiable hunger for power and the ambition to conquer the world. He was delusional, sadistic, and arrogant, even proclaiming himself as the most intelligent person on the planet. However, his arrogance had some merit, as he demonstrated exceptional intelligence by creating the superhuman drug that produced Biceps Brachii King.
During their rampage, Fukegao shouted orders at his younger brother, urging him to destroy more towns and kill more people to prove the steroid's power.
Despite his ruthless nature, it is implied that he cared deeply for his younger brother and was even considerate. Marugori had dreamed of obtaining the strongest body, and Fukegao's superhuman drug seemed to be created specifically for him. In the anime, Fukegao tells Marugori that he even added strawberry flavoring to make the drug easier to consume. Ultimately, he appeared to desire for both of them to become the most powerful duo in the world. More than anything, Fukegao disapproved of the drug's power rather than the strength itself, as he never showed any intention of taking it himself.[2]
Plot
Introduction Saga
Saitama Introduction Arc
After spending considerable time developing a steroid, Fukegao finally perfected the ultimate formula, the Biceps Brachii King. In his lab, he hands it to his brother and tells him to drink it. Marugori complies, and the drug takes effect, causing his muscles to expand and his body to grow to the size of a skyscraper. Amazed by the transformation, Fukegao declares that The Brain and Brawn Brothers will conquer the world. However, as the lab collapses from the impact, Fukegao becomes trapped under the debris. He calls out for help, and Marugori frees him, placing him on his massive shoulder. Fukegao once again declares that together, they possess the greatest intellectual and physical power in the world. They march toward D-City, where Marugori demolishes several buildings with a single swing of his fist. Fukegao, astounded by his brother's overwhelming strength, revels in the mass destruction and urges him to destroy the next town as well.[3]
At B-City, he continues cheering for his brother but lets out a startled scream when he notices Saitama standing on Marugori's other shoulder. He orders his brother to kill him, but Marugori mistakenly strikes the wrong shoulder, unintentionally crushing Fukegao to death.[4]
