Rudd is a kind person who is friends with Wolf and was proud to see the Heart Pirates succeed in their journeys in the North Blue.^[1]

History

One Piece novel Law

Wolf brought Law, Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi to Rudd to ask him for formal permission to work in Pleasure Town, which he gave. Rudd asked Wolf to sign as their legal guardian.^[1]

After the group formed the Heart Pirates and left Swallow Island, Rudd excitedly showed Wolf a newspaper featuring the latest exploits of the Heart Pirates in the North Blue.^[2]
