SMUGGLER JASH is a character and NPC in OMORI. They are one of the many JASH vendors who sells various goods in THE DUNGEON and FANMAIL GRAVEYARD of SWEETHEART'S CASTLE.
PROFILE
APPEARANCE
SMUGGLER JASH is a small white cube-like character with a green leaf on their head, as well as light brown pants. They appear similar to the many other JASH species that roam HEADSPACE. The SMUGGLER JASH shares the same appearance as the TOFU JASH, a shopkeeper in SPROUT MOLE VILLAGE who primarily sells TOFU for 1 CLAM each.
PERSONALITY
SMUGGLER JASH is shown to be a smuggler at heart, often appearing as a shady individual who will not hesitate to steal anything for their own sake. Despite being sent to the dungeon for smuggling in goods, SMUGGLER JASH is not willing to drop the habit and retain their old ways of selling goods, no matter the cost.
STORY
SMUGGLER JASH is a shopkeeper, selling "choice goods" to the player from the depths of SWEETHEART'S CASTLE. They are located in one of the cages in THE DUNGEON (accessed via the ladder at MARI's picnic in THE DUNGEON), where they express their rebelliousness against being sent to the dungeon before offering to sell goods to the player.
Another SMUGGLER JASH can be found in the FANMAIL GRAVEYARD, which is located below the garden statue, across from the RARE BEAR for the A GOOD LISTENER sidequest. Both vendors will sell the following items: TOFU, JACKS, CHICKEN WING, TASTY SODA, MANGO SMOOTHIE, POETRY BOOK, and LIFE JAM.
If the player has bought an item from each one of the six JASH vendors, and SMUGGLER JASH is the last one the group buys an item from, the group will receive the SALES TAG as a token of gratitude for being a patron of JASH.

- SMUGGLER JASH's signature phrase, "Got some choice goods for sale, patron", is similar in structure to that of the Resident Evil 4 merchant, who says "Got a selection of good things on sale, stranger."
- In the game's data, SMUGGLER JASH is referred to as JASH SHOP and ASH SHOP.
- Like with the rest of the JASHES, SMUGGLER JASH was originally named ASH.
