CLAUS[1] is a quest in OMORI. It is one of the many optional FARAWAY TOWN sidequests made available during the start of THREE DAYS LEFT.
STORY
Unlike the other CATS found throughout FARAWAY TOWN, the ORANGE CAT (CLAUS) is the only one that SUNNY can feed using FISH bought from OTHERMART. This can be done on both morning and evening segments of each day. Each time SUNNY feeds it FISH, the ORANGE CAT will reward the group with a specific item, which depends on the total number of times it is fed throughout all segments in FARAWAY TOWN.
THREE DAYS LEFT
In the morning, the ORANGE CAT is found sitting on top of the monkey bars at the playground within FARAWAY PARK. The cat later appears perching itself on the roof of BASIL'S HOUSE during the afternoon.

TWO DAYS LEFT
The following day, the ORANGE CAT is first found sitting on top of SUNNY'S HOUSE upon leaving the place during the morning. After the group takes BASIL back to his house to let him rest during the afternoon, the ORANGE CAT is found hiding itself within a tree at FARAWAY PLAZA. Note that the tree is located right outside of OTHERMART.

ONE DAY LEFT
During SUNNY's last day in FARAWAY TOWN, the ORANGE CAT makes two more appearances in the game. At the entrance of the HANGOUT SPOT, it is found near a few sign boards during daytime. The ORANGE CAT's final appearance has it sitting next to MARI's grave at FARAWAY CEMETERY in the afternoon.

REWARD
When feeding the ORANGE CAT with the FISH bought from the OTHERMART LADY, the cat will give SUNNY an item, depending on how many times he has fed it throughout the FARAWAY TOWN segments.
For the 1st and 2nd time it is fed, the ORANGE CAT will give the group TRASH. The 3rd time it is fed yields the BUBBLE WRAP charm. For the 4th time, the cat gives them an ARCADE PIECE needed to fix the broken arcade machine inside GINO'S PIZZA. Feeding it for the 5th time allows the group to obtain another SEASHELL needed to create the SEASHELL NECKLACE. If fed for a total of 6 times, the last gift given by the ORANGE CAT is the TRANQUIL CD.
In addition, feeding the ORANGE CAT for a total of six times fulfills the Tummy Full of Fish achievement. This also allows the player to obtain three CDS (one from giving the found TRASH to OLD LADY, one from giving the ARCADE PIECE to GINO, and one given by the cat itself), which are needed for the achievement Music Connoisseur Of Sorts.

- LITTLE ORANGE CAT is one of few FARAWAY TOWN sidequests not required for completion of the Universally Loved achievement.
- However, completion of this sidequest is required for the Tummy Full of Fish achievement.
- Exclusive to the evening segment on ONE DAY LEFT, if the player chooses to have a picnic at the graveyard before feeding the cat, it will vanish after the picnic event is finished.
