Treasures are collectible items typically found within treasure chests in Ōkami. Collected treasures are shown in the 'Treasure Tome' menu, which also includes a description and the current number of each in the player's possession. Despite their collectability, their sole purpose is to be sold, allowing the player to make Yen off of the sale. Although chests are the most common source for treasure, the Thief's Glove can also be used as a way to steal them from demons, although this generally only yields the most low-valued types. The Konohana tree also produces fruits containing treasure whenever another Guardian Sapling is restored.
The rarest treasures are generally worth the most, with many only having one in existence, such as the zodiac treasures and gemstone tassels.
