Original series

Throughout Noggin's run as a cable channel, a few original series were made specifically for the channel. The original series differed from the rest of Noggin's lineup, because most other shows were just reruns from Nickelodeon, Sesame Workshop or other companies archives.

This page is a list of the original series, but also some shows originally made in certain other countries and by other companies (outside of Noggin LLC) that were acquired by Noggin, that are specially reissued as originals in countries outside from where they are usually made in (all having Noggin LLC as owner), including the years the originals aired on Noggin (counting reruns).

A series with a set of "newer" Sesame Street episodes from seasons 25 and 30-31, that still met the educational standards of the 2000s.
Phred on Your Head Show June 6, 1999-2004
A variety show that was Noggin's first flagship series. It featured an animated character named Phred, alongside a different live-action co-host in each episode.
The Whooton Observer 1999-2002
A short-form series that was originally pitched to Noggin as a half-hour pilot. It is about a nature-loving girl named Franny who delivers newspapers.
A Walk in Your Shoes October 25, 1999-December 4, 2005
Originally a short-form series, this is an educational show where two people switch lives in each episode. It aired during both the daytime block and The N.
Oobi 2000-2009[note 1]
Also originally a short-form series, this is a show about a group of bare-hand puppets exploring the world.
Me in a Box 2000-2002
A series of short-form documentaries where kids display their artwork and objects that represent themselves. It was shown during commercial breaks.
Citizen Phoebe 2000-2001
An interactive short-form series about a kid who wants to run for U.S. president. It was shown during commercial breaks, and exclusive webisodes were made for Noggin.com.
Big Kids January 29, 2001-January 25, 2004
A comedy-drama about two children whose parents are placed under a spell that makes them act like "big kids." Co-produced by Noggin and the BBC.
On the Team January 30, 2001-December 21, 2003
A 13-part documentary about a kids' baseball team.
The URL with Phred Show July 28, 2001-December 14, 2003
A spin-off of Phred on Your Head that features user-submitted art and clips from Noggin's website. It starred new characters who originated in Noggin's web games.
Tiny Planets ** September 10, 2001 - April 4, 2004
Two furry aliens travel different planets and solve problems along the way.
Sponk! September 10, 2001-November 30, 2003
A game show about improvised comedy. After its original run ended, reruns aired on Noggin during The N block. Made by both Noggin LLC and Sesame Workshop.
Play With Me Sesame April 1, 2002-September 2, 2007
Noggin's first half-hour show for preschoolers, a spin-off of Sesame Street with new interactive segments. The animated portions of the show were made by Nick Digital.
Story Time * April 1, 2002-September 28, 2009[note 2]
A selection of story-like clips, ending with children reciting their own version of the story.

Jack's Big Music Show September 12, 2005-2009[note 1]
A show for preschoolers about a music-playing puppet named Jack. The show features a selection of music videos in each episode.
Pinky Dinky Doo ** April 10, 2006-September 18, 2009
Pinky is a girl who has a wild imagination and loves to make up tall tales.
The Upside Down Show 2006-2009[note 1]
A surreal kids' comedy about two brothers who live in an apartment with many strange rooms. Made by both Noggin LLC and Sesame Workshop.

The N block

The Noggin channel included a nighttime programming block for teens, called The N (standing for Noggin), from 2002 until 2007. A few original shows were made by Noggin for the block. All of Noggin and The N's shows, regardless of the target audience, were produced and owned by Noggin LLC.

A comedy-drama about a high school boy from Connecticut, Reilly, who moves from America to Australia. Made by both Noggin LLC and Sesame Workshop.
LOL with The N May 30-June 20, 2003
A stand-up comedy show, hosted by Mike Birbiglia and starring a group of teens who want to become professional comedians.
Girls v. Boys August 8, 2003-January 7, 2007
A competition series where groups of boys and girls face off in different challenges. Produced by the same team behind A Walk in Your Shoes.
O'Grady July 30, 2004-September 23, 2007
An animated comedy about the town of O'Grady, which is plagued by a strange force called "The Weirdness."
Miracle's Boys 2005-2006
A six-part mini-series, partially directed by Spike Lee, about three teenage brothers who grow up without parents in Harlem, New York.
South of Nowhere November 4, 2005-December 14, 2007
A coming-of-age drama about three teen siblings dealing with a move from suburban Ohio to hectic, fast-paced Los Angeles.
What Goes On 2007 (planned)
An ensemble drama about five teens living on the same block of a small town. 10 episodes were fully produced by Noggin LLC, but they never aired on TV.

The N Original

Noggin also created special ending cards for the shows that it created for its The N block. Note that Noggin LLC is the owner of The N's shows, and that the copyright bylines are usually identical to the Noggin Original cards.
