Bramimond is a character in the Fire Emblem series. He is a member of the Eight Legends who fought against the Dragons during the Scouring almost 1,000 years before the events of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. He is a master of the dark art who destroyed his sense of self to achieve a level of mastery unrivaled across history. As a result, he is left as a genderless husk without personality that can only mirror who interact with him. He is also a playable character in Fire Emblem Heroes.

History

Bramimond was originally born as a human male. During the Scouring around 1,000 years before the events of The Blazing Blade, he was a renowed Dark Mage and eventually become one of the eight chosen hero of mankind alongside Athos, Rolan, Durban, St. Elimine, Hanon, Barigan, and Hartmut. As one of the hero chosen to fight the dragons, he was given one of the strongest weapon forged by human knowledge at this time, Apocalypse. The Heros succeeded and the dragons were eventually slaughtered by the heros while they were forced to assume human forms due to the Ending Winter caused by the great inbalance that the unatural legendary weapons caused.

Bramimond later made his home bellow the Dread Isle after the legendary weapons were sealed. Bramimond then improved his skills in dark magic to the point that it destroyed his self and left him without gender, appearance or personality of his own instead he takes on the traits of those who interact with him. His power is probably part of what caused him to live for around 1,000 years while the other heros except for Athos died during that time.

During the events of The Blazing Sword, the group arrive to Bramimond's resting place by following Athos' directions. The hero intend to ask Bramimond to use his power to break the seal that hold the weapons in order to face Nergal. Bramimond later used what was remaining of his power alongside the legendary weapons to bring Ninian back to life and is implied to have passed away as a result soon after.
