Blue

Blue is a character in NIER. She is the mother of the two boys that live in the Junk Heap.

Story

Blue ran away from her abusive ex-husband and began living with her children. However, she despised her harsh life, and as a result, would constantly abuse them. She didn’t have a job, didn’t take care of her children and barely cooked for them, so the older brother, Jakob, became the main support of the family.

Later on, she met a man named Carlo who made advances towards her, and abandoned her children in hopes of crossing the mountain and escaping. However, she was killed mercilessly by the defense system in the bowels of the mountain.

Trivia

• She is named after the Blue Fairy that gave life to Pinocchio.^[1]
