Wheeler is one of the three deuteragonists of the Nick Jr. series Rubble & Crew, the spin-off series of PAW Patrol.
Biography
Wheeler is the clean machine for this Builder Cove team, who does not like to get dirty and bolts away to clean up every mess.
Personality
Wheeler is a pup who has a smile on his face and is always bright eyed and happy. Despite this, he’s focused on getting the job done and is really knowledgeable about the supplies the team needs, materials, and even, his favorite thing ever—bolts, which he loves so much.
He likes to keep himself clean and loves to cleanup mess in a construction environment. He is kind of a comedian, and, even though his jokes aren’t the best, Charger can’t get enough of it.
Appearance
Wheeler is a Pointer dog with mainly white fur. He has light brown fur as well, with spots going down his legs, and a white tail. He has big ears, with light blue eyes.
He wears a blue construction vest with yellow and silver highlights, as well as his matching toolbox-themed pup-pack, with a construction hat of the same color that has Rubble & Crew's logo in the center.
Pup-Tag
Like the rest of the Crew, Wheeler has a pup-tag attached to his black collar. It has the PAW Patrol's symbol in the center and glows blue. He uses it to communicate with the Bark Screen, the Crew and other Builder Cove residents.
Equipment and Vehicles
Wheeler's tool-pack contains a wrench, claws, a screwdriver, a sponge, a hammer and a vacuum cleaner (also an air blower).
His vehicle is a blue dumping truck with yellow and black highlights. He uses it to store supplies for the crew's construction jobs and haul away any mess such as dirt.
Skills and Abilities
Wheeler is very organizational, clean, and knowledgeable. He is often the one who carries the crew's supplies for their construction jobs in the back of his truck. He also hauls away any mess leftover with it or with his tool pack's vac.
While he is very knowledgeable on construction supplies such as the various types of bolts needed for a strong foundation, he also knows lots on other things such as plants, dinosaurs, and different buildings used for specific services such as the science lab in "The Crew & Chase Are on the Case".
Trivia
- According to the official PAW Patrol Instagram, he is a Pointer pup.
- He has the vocal tone and mannerisms of an autistic child.
- But it has not been officially confirmed if he is autistic or not.
- He is the only pup of the Crew who is not a bulldog, thus coming to the implication that he is adopted.
- This is an indicator that not all cousins have the same ethnicity or race and can be multiracial in real life.
- He was the first member of Rubble's family (besides Rubble) to talk in Rubble & Crew.
- His main color is similar to Chase from PAW Patrol.
- Much like Marshall from PAW Patrol, he has his own running gag: Every time he says "Tools rule!" after using his wrench, his hat falls down over his eyes.
- In "The Crew Builds a Dinosaur Museum", it is revealed that he is able to walk on his hind legs.
