CITY

CITY is a whimsical comedy series first created as a manga by Keiichi Arawi. The CITY manga was serialized in the Kodansha Ltd. seinen magazine Weekly Morning from September 29, 2016 to February 4, 2021. The story follows the "bizarre and normal lives of the bizarre and normal people" living in a fictional city in Japan.

In advertising, the Mont Blanc Trio are typically presented as the protagonists of CITY, and among them Midori Nagumo is often presented as the mascot of the series. However, the manga itself features a large cast of characters, many of whom share just as much focus as the Mont Blanc Trio.

It is presented as a spiritual successor to Nichijou and perhaps more. On September 21, 2024, Kyoto Animation announced CITY's anime adaptation, which is slated for a 6 July 2025 release.^[1][2]
