Yoojin draws on Yoohyun's skills, namely Black Blood Flames and Azure Willow Leaves, to effortlessly evade the Rauchitas' attacks and strike back at it. He muses on what an amazing Hunter his little brother was when using these skills, and commends him on being flawless in all but one aspect—cutting off his leech of an elder brother. Despite having an easy chance at killing the Rauchitas right away, Yoojin draws out the battle, cutting the dragonmonster down torturously slowly, until it's blinded and unable to move, drawing its last breaths.
With Last Compensation about to end, Yoojin settles down on the Rauchitas' corpse, having resigned himself to dying by its poison once his SS-rank durability wears off. However, a system window pops up just as the Rauchitas dies, informing Yoojin that he's gained the extremely rare L-rank titleDragon Slayer. With it, he earns multiple item rewards, including the Wish Stone. Yoojin learns that the Wish Stone can grant any wish except for resurrecting a dead person. With his briefly-ignited hopes of reviving Yoohyun dashed, Yoojin daydreams about using the Wish Stone for his own gain, but instead chooses to go back in time to redo things and avert Yoohyun's death.
