SCENE | Elmo, Grover, Zoe and Rosita are part of a singing group, "The Cute and Fuzzy Four," and practice their song. They have a gig at Hooper's Store tonight, but Zoe's daddy and Rosita's mother send them home, and Grover has to go to work at Charlie's Restaurant, making the performance impossible. Now Elmo has no band since he cannot sing by himself and wonders what to do. |

SCENE, cont'd | Meanwhile, Gordon's father (played by Carl Gordon) comes over. Gordon, Miles, and Gordon's father are trying to figure out something they all can do together when they learn that Elmo needs some new singing partners. Elmo asks Miles to participate in the performance, since he is in a singing group. Miles told Elmo that he is spending time with Gordon's father, but Gordon's father tells Miles to sing with Elmo since it is good to help a friend. |

SCENE, cont'd | When Elmo asks Gordon to join his band, Miles doesn't think that his dad would be in a band because he is not into music. Then Gordon reveals that as a teenager in the 1970s, he was once in a band known as "The Electric Three" with Luis and Bob. The latter puts on an English accent to keep up with the other popular British bands, and Luis is distracted by "this groovy chick" named Maria that he just met. The Electric Three then perform a rock version of "Rubber Duckie." |

SCENE, cont'd | When Elmo asks Gordon's father to join the band, Gordon is surprised to learn that his dad was a singer known as "Johnny Uno" and he had a hit song called "Do the Macaroni." He remembers performing the song in 1955 on Sesame Street Bandstand. |

Notes
- Although the song that is sung at the performance is "Monster in the Mirror," everybody refers to this song as "The Wubba Wubba Wubba Song," and only a few lyrics are sung, leaving out the "Monster in the Mirror" parts.
- Bob's remark that he hopes that Maria doesn't break up the band is a reference to Yoko Ono breaking up The Beatles.
