Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Oscar finds Zoe playing with a toy dinosaur near his trash can. She wants him to see her play, but he dismisses her being "cutesy-poo." Zoe spots Gordon on the steps, but as he heads back inside he takes the little dinosaur Zoe was playing with. Oscar notices how bothered she is, so he shows her how to act furious. Zoe tries to copy what Oscar says in a grouchy way, but she can barely act angry. Oscar vows to help teach Zoe, dubbing her as a student in his "How to Show People You're Angry School."

She ends up laughing when she sees the picture, prompting Oscar to come up with another method – reading a book. Oscar leaves his trash can to retrieve the aptly-named book Learning How to Show People You're Angry, one he read as a young Grouch. Zoe wonders, "Where do you find a book like that?"

Zoe explains their problem nicely to Carlo, and they graciously let her and Oscar ask Linda for their book. She uses her computer database to search for it.

Zoe explains to him how she was playing with the toy dinosaur and requests for him to give it back, but Gordon denies. Oscar thinks that now would be a good time to show her anger when Miles exits the apartment with a dinosaur in his hand – the same one Zoe was playing with. Gordon informs them that it belongs to Miles and was accidentally left outside. Zoe feels sad instead of angry, but Miles says the two of them can play with it together. Zoe thanks Oscar for taking her to the library - which makes him angry, but he shrugs it off. As Zoe and Miles go to play with the dinosaur, Gordon announces the sponsors.
