SCENE 1 An out of breath Elmo and Big Bird look for the word OPEN, explaining to Gina that they're playing tag with a sentient version of the word. They notice the new "OPEN" sign on the door of Hooper's Store, realizing it's actually the word they've been chasing. The word (performed by Jim Martin) pulls itself off the door so they can continue their game. Gina wonders aloud if other streets experience this type of zaniness.

Gina finds it obvious, as the other two choices are a chicken (David Rudman) and a talking slice of apple pie, which she wins as her prizes. The word HOT (Pam Arciero) is then tagged by the rest and joins their game.
