SCENE 1 As Maria and Buffy sit down for a healthy snack in the yard, Luis brings Barkley over to them to show off the new trick he's taught him - subtraction. He places three dog biscuits down and commands Barkley to not only subtract one at a time, but count (in barks) how many are left. After the trick, Barkley tries subtracting Maria and Buffy's snacks. "Maybe I should've taught him how to add," Luis comments.
