Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 Susan meets with Big Bird, who is waiting for the bus as he stands next to Hooper's Store. Susan tells him that the bus doesn't stop there, but instead at the bus stop sign. He reads the sign to make sure it's correct, concentrating so hard on reading the word "bus" that he ends up missing it and runs to try and catch up.

Muppets Three Anything Muppets (including Farley) wait for a bus at a bus stop. To their surprise, the bus is very small, and two small Muppets get off of it.

SCENE 2 Gordon and the kids observe Brian's pet dog Heidi; Gordon has her do a couple of tricks. Oscar, trying to take his nap, thinks dogs are too nice and sweet. However, he becomes inspired when he learns about watchdogs from Gordon, who explains how they bark to keep others away. Since Oscar doesn't care for dogs, he thinks of another kind of animal that would keep people away from his trash can.

SCENE 3 Oscar acts as a "watch-chicken" by practicing clucking. As he goes inside his can, Big Bird passes by with a bag of birdseed. He hears the clucking and assumes Oscar has a new chicken, so he pours some of the contents of the bag into the can. Oscar, now covered in birdseed, thinks his idea needs work, and considers a bigger, louder animal to pretend to be.
Muppets Japanese Story: The Emperor's New Gong — A salesman tries to find the perfect gong for the Emperor.
Cartoon Jasper thinks that he has lost his elbow, but Julius shows him his elbow by bending his arm.

SCENE 4 David drops by the can, where Oscar is now acting as a "watch-cow," complete with a disguise. David doesn't think cows are very scary, though. He goes on to say he needed eggs, having heard from Big Bird that there's a chicken in the can. Since there's only a "cow," David asks for some milk instead, which sends Oscar groaning back into his can.
Cartoon Two kids argue over whose chair it is, until the dog suggests they share the chair.

SCENE 5 Gordon and Susan come over to check on Oscar's progress. He has instead opted to fend off annoyances with a real animal - Stinky the skunk. Disgusted, Gordon and Susan retreat to Big Bird's nest.

SCENE 8 Oscar hires Luis to tinker with his doorbell, saying it's too loud. Luis adjusts it so it's quieter and quieter, pointing out that if it were any quieter it wouldn't make any sound. Oscar agrees: "You think I wanna know when someone's ringing my doorbell?" Luis pulls the doorbell's cords out rendering it completely inaudible, just as Oscar likes it.

Muppets Guy Smiley hosts "The Remembering Game", a game show in which the contestants must match pictures based on memory. The winner gets whatever item was in the pictures he matched, and the other contestant wins the item from the remaining two pictures as a consolation prize. Bill Smith wins a cookie, and Cookie Monster wins a jet plane. Disappointed, Cookie Monster suggests that they switch prizes.
