Cheng is one of the racers the player races against in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition and is part of the Unbeatable Street Racers. He hails from Piedmont Park.
Cheng is one of the two gatekeepers that block the City Movers from allowing the player to enter Detroit, the player must defeat him or Naomi along with Roy's first rematch to be able to enter Detroit.
Background
Following Dre's defeat, the player will receive a call that Cheng is looking for a challenger. He drives a Rally Red Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII with a license plate reading "EVOHH".
In order to advance to Detroit, one of Cheng or Naomi must be defeated. One of the two aforementioned racers serve as a gatekeeper towards progressing to Detroit, which will require a defeat of Roy's first rematch and one of the two gatekeepers. Defeating Cheng unlocks Wild vinyls, and possibly the Atlanta Cop (if the player defeated Roy's first rematch earlier) or the Cadillac Sixteen (if all the other career mode tasks have been done earlier).
If the player defeated Naomi first, Cheng, along with Dre if he has not been defeated yet, becomes optional racers that will only be required to be defeated for 100% completion, however, his other opponents, aside from driving Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIIIs, will be driving the Lamborghini Murciélago VT, Saleen S7 (naturally aspirated), Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, McLaren F1 LM, Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, Pagani Zonda C-12 S or the Class A Sport Bikes if the player challenged him after the U.S. Championship Series, and may possibly spawn Angel or Lamont's U.S. Championship races.

- If the player challenged Cheng after the U.S. Championship Series, the player may get the four possible races that were done in the said series:
- Owing to the nature of Atlanta's racers, it is possible to end their U.S. Career Mode on Cheng's third race, and win the Cadillac Sixteen there, provided they used Naomi to open Detroit, and left Cheng unbeaten until the player finished all other U.S. Career tasks.
