Pharandrin was one of the Bryyo Gods mentioned in notes created by Matt Manchester for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Ultimately, the gods did not appear in the retail version of Corruption, but the story behind them was the basis for the numerous busts in the Imperial Hall room. In Manchester's notes, Pharandrin is named as the Dreamer of the gods, and is written as being half blind, and having a mind where all resting consciousness of Bryyo children travel. The bust created to represent Pharandrin was later repurposed as a sculpture of the emperor Amtti VI.
Notes
"Dreamer of the gods – Pharandrin: This half blind deity remains in a perpetual dreaming state. It is within his mind that the resting conscious of all children of Bryyo travel. He is the god of abstraction, and the weaver of mystery. For those attuned to him most, he is also the god of insight."
