Smashers are an enemy Invader group introduced in Metal Slug 6.
Information
Smashers are one-eyed, red, crab-like creatures with four legs and a white chubby body. They seem to be distantly related to Hunter Walkers, as they have one eye and the same type of legs as Hunter Walkers do. They fly by spinning their legs like helicopters. When a target is below them, they inflate their body and crash toward the target.

Smasher: The original version. In Metal Slug Defense and Metal Slug Attack, Smashers can shield allies by attracting enemy fire. |

Smasher Returns: Smashers making their triumphant return. Far more stronger than the regular version, its smashing capabilities are also greatly enhanced. |
| Smasher Type-F: Purple variant. It can now use its propeller legs like sawblades to deal rapid damage against its enemies. | |
| Smasher Type-G: Highly dangerous and rare golden strain that can easily destroy tanks by smashing them so hard it forms a crater upon impact. |
