M60

The Morden M60 7.62 mm is a type of machine gun used by the Rebel Army.

Series Information

The M60 is used by Allen O'Neil, Mecha Allen, Allen Jr., and Julia. They fire multiple shots in bursts whenever they are at a far distance from the enemy. In Metal Slug 2/X, Metal Slug 3, and Metal Slug 4, Allen and his robotic self will drop it upon defeat, and the player can pick it up for Heavy Machine Gun ammo.

Trivia

• The M60 and the AR-10 are the only real modern Firearm in the Rebel Infantry (as opposed to their weird mix of German WWII rifles and futuristic weapons).
