Loi

Loi was a male Human command division Starfleet sergeant assigned to the USS Enterprise in the 2260s.

History

In 2265, during a visit to the planet Orthoo, Loi was assigned by Captain James T. Kirk to outer security guard detail for the Great Eye of Ara, a large ruby considered holy to the local population. Fellow crewman Red Garvin was assigned to the inner guard detail. The ruby disappeared one night and Garvin was found sleeping. Garvin pointed blame at Loi. However, Loi certified under truth scan that he had no knowledge of the theft and had not stolen the gem. (TOS comic: "Furlough to Fury")
