Frood

Frood was a 23rd century crewman who served in Starfleet aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk in the 2260s.

History

In 2268, Frood beamed down to the war-ravaged capital city of Rudimon as its population began a fledgling peace. Frood accompanied large numbers of the ship's personnel to help train medical technicians, provide new educational techniques to teachers, and upgrade the city's power plant. While Frood was assisting, an outdated, underground nuclear engine blew up. Frood was one of 63 Enterprise crew who were killed in the blast.

Commander Spock saw Frood's name on the official casualty list. The Enterprise brought Frood's body to Starbase 47. (TOS - Star Trek: The Manga - Uchu comic: "The Humanitarian")
