Ensign Hriss was a Caitian officer who served in Starfleet in the late 24th century.
Biography
In the year 2380, she was assigned to the Federation starship USS Titan. While on what she considered a boring security assignment, she reflected on her fellow Caitian shipmates. She noted that there were four of them serving on Titan, two males and two females. Three of them were in security, and the fourth, a female named Hsuuri, was a scientist. Hriss expressed disgust at the fact that Hsuuri was attracted to Ensign Zurin Dakal, a fellow scientist who happened to be Cardassian. Hriss thought she'd rather sleep with Doctor Shenti Yisec Eres Ree than bed down with a Cardassian, and was grateful she had Ensign Rriarr to keep her bed warm. (TTN novel: Sword of Damocles)
