Arakis

Arakis is a binary star system located in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant, near the boundaries of the space claimed by the Swarm, on the edge of the Nekrit Expanse.

History and specifics

Arakis consists of an type F white star primary and an type A blue-white star companion, and was the location of planet Arakis Prime. This system was explored by the crew of the Federation starship USS Voyager in the year 2373. (VOY episode: "One Small Step"; ST reference: Star Charts)
