The Wii U is an eighth-generation video game console created by Nintendo. It was released worldwide in late 2012. The console was mainly competed with Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This console is a successor to the Nintendo Wii.
All games from the original Mega Man series, Battle Network series and Zero series released on previous Nintendo systems were available for Wii U via Nintendo eShop. Aside from that, there were no original video game titles produced for the console.
The console was discontinued on 2017 and was succeeded by the Nintendo Switch.
The eShop was shut down on March 27, 2023, with the addition of funds becoming no longer possible from May 29, 2022 for credit cards and August 29, 2022 for Nintendo eShop Cards.[1]
