Tadahou

Tadahou (タダホウ, Tadahou) is a stationary gun enemy in Mega Man 6 made from the scraps of other cannons, but it has a weak frame.^[1] Tadahou appears in Yamato Man's stage, Plant Man's stage, the fourth Mr. X stage, and the fourth Dr. Wily stage. It usually stays in place and shoots at a certain interval, though it can also hop on the springs near the end of Plant Man's stage.

Etymology

Tadahou's name may derive from the words "Tada/ただ", ordinary, unusual, "just a", and "Hou/砲/ホウ", cannon or gun. Thus, the name would essentially mean "Just a gun" or "An ordinary cannon".
