Schmitt (シュミット Shumitto) is a Reploid created by Dr. Doppler in Rockman X Mega Mission. He is one of the Incept Chasers alongside his partner, Curtiss.
Characteristics
Schmitt is an average-sized Reploid with white and purple highlights on his armor. Like Curtiss, he also has the Doppler insigna on his chest armor. He possesses incredible agility, maybe rivaling that of some Mavericks, and uses powerful karate chops in battle, making him a lethal opponent.
History
Schmitt first appears immediately after X defeats Curtiss, killing his partner so he can't be interrogated for information. After the defeats of the remaining Limit Reploids (Flame Stag L, Storm Eagle L, Sting Chameleon L and Wheel Gator L) in Doppler's factory, Schmitt reappears and attacks X and Zero. As he tries to directly hit X, Zero blocks the attack and X uses his Clear Buster to damage Schmitt. He escapes once again to the Limited, asking for help. Instead, the Limited absorbs Schmitt altogether and creates a new Reploid, iX.

Schmitt is a variant of Schmidt, a common German occupational surname derived from the German word "Schmied" meaning "blacksmith" and/or "metalworker". This surname is the German equivalent of "Smith".
