"Anti Battle Chips" and "Trap Battle Cards" are a family of trap Battle Chips and Battle Cards in the Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force video game series respectively. They also appear in the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series. In the Japanese games, the names all differ from each other, but in the English Battle Network games, they are united by the "Anti" name.
When used in the video games, Anti Chips screen-dims and "????" will appear on the top left hand corner of the user’s screen (in PvP, it will appear on the top right hand corner if the player’s opponent uses one). When the enemy uses the chip or element that the trap was set for, it actives and counters the user.
In the Mega Man Star Force series, Anti Sword returns, and Element Trap, Anti Recovery, and Anti Navi return as Spirit Fury, Poison Apple, and Double Cross. A new Anti Card called Giga Mine also appears, which counters Giga Cards. Unlike Anti Chips, Trap Cards can only be used in PvP and all trigger upon Card use rather than when the attack is detected.
Types
Anti Damage

Anti Damage (AntiDmg), known as Kawarimi (カワリミ Kawarimi, lit. "Body Double") in Japan, known as Body Double[1] in the English dub, complete nullifies the damage taken of one attack and counters it by attacking the closest target with a ninja star that does 100 damage.
Shadow Soul and the Navi Customizer program Anti Damage allows one to gain the benefits of the chip without using it.
Anti Elec

Anti Elec (AntiElec), known as Hiraishin (ヒライシン Hiraishin, lit. "Lightning Rod" or "Conducter") in Japan, known as Anti Electricity[2] in the English dub, is a Battle Chip that counters electric attacks.
Anti Fire

Anti Fire (AntiFire), known as Kakigenkin (カキゲンキン Kakigenkin, lit. "Flammable Warning") in Japan, is a Battle Chip that counters fire attacks.

Anti Navi (AntiNavi), known as Navi Scout (ナビスカウト Nabi Sukauto) in Japan, is a Battle Chip that counters Navi Chips by making the summoned Navi attack the one who summoned it.
In the Mega Man Star Force series there is an summon card equivalent called Double Cross.
Anti Recovery

Anti Recovery (AntiRecv), known as Bad Medicine (バッドメディスン Baddo Medisun) in Japan, is a Battle Chip that counters recovery type chips. When activated, the Navi using a Recovery will take damage equal to the amount that would be recovered, and a poison panel appears under the Navi.
In the Mega Man Star Force series it was replaced by the Battle Card Poison Apple.
Anti Sword

Anti Sword (AntiSwrd), known as Shirahadori (シラハドリ Shirahadori, lit. "Bare Handed Sword Catch") in Japan, is a Battle Chip and Battle Card that counters sword type attacks. When activated, the user turns invincible for a few seconds while performing 3 3-panel wide Sonic Booms.
It returns in the Mega Man Star Force series.
Anti Water

Anti Water (AntiWatr), known as Daikouzui (ダイコウズイ Daikōzui, lit. "Heavy Flood") in Japan, is a Battle Chip that can counter attacks of the Aqua element.
Anti Wood

Anti Wood (AntiWood), known as Mayoi no Mori (マヨイノモリ Mayoi no Mori, lit. "Lost Woods") in Japan, is a Battle Chip that can counter attacks of the Wood element.
Giga Mine
Counters Giga Cards in the Star Force games.
Element Trap

Element Trap (エレメントラップ Erementorappu, "Elementrap" or "Element Wrap" in Japan) is a Battle Chip in Mega Man Battle Network 6 that replaces the four "anti element" chips. It can counter any of the four basic elements.
