Anti-Sea (たいすい Taisui[1] / アンチシー Anchishī[2]) is an action introduced in the first Medarot game that causes great damage to Medabots with Diving leg parts, but are usually weaker against other leg types.

Description

In Medarot and Medarot 2, Anti-Sea is available both as a Grapple (Strike or Berserk) and as a Shooting (Shoot or Aim Shot) Skill. The animation of Anti-Sea attacks were the same as Hammer for the Grapple version and as Rifle for the Shooting version. Anti-Sea appears to also work like an equipment effect in the first game, as a Medabot with Anti-Sea will also cause more damage against aquatic targets when using other attacks. This equip effect will stop working after the target's legs are destroyed.

In Medarot 3, the way Anti-Sea's name is written was changed, and it gained its own animation, launching a torpedo.

From Medarot 3 to Medarot Navi, Anti-Sea is only available as a Defend Skill that is considered an attack.

In Medabots (GBA), Shingata Medarot, and Medarot DS, Anti-Sea is only available as a Shooting attack.

From Medarot DS onward, if the target's legs are destroyed, Anti-Sea's attack bonus will be no longer valid.

From Medarot 7 onward, Anti-Sea's Grapple version returned.

In Medarot 9, Anti-Sea became a Sub-Skill.

In Medarot S: Unlimited Nova, Anti-Sea returned being an action, and the damage bonus is considered even after the target's leg parts were destroyed.
