A Yadorā (plural: Yadorā) is an enemy in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
Profile
Physical description
Yadorā have the appearance of a hermit crab with a spiked cone shell, from which a pair of eyes can be seen. In their artwork, Yadorā are shown to have red pincers and a red shell.
Behavior
A Yadorā has a pattern of moving back and forth. Whenever a Yadorā reaches an edge, it stops and retreats into its shell before turning around to continue the other direction. Yadorā are unaffected by water, and they can move around in it without taking damage.
In Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
Wario can defeat a Yadorā by either Barging into its back or from using Fire Breath as Dragon Wario. If Wario touches a Yadorā, he takes damage and shrinks to Small Wario. While underwater, Wario can touch a Yadorā's back to defeat it.
Yadorā can be defeated only by a side tackle to their weak spot, their back. The only other way is with Dragon Wario's breath. If Wario comes in contact with any other part of their body, he shrinks to Small Wario. Wario can simply touch their backs to knock them out when they are underwater.
