Tricky Tires

Tricky Tires is a 4-player mini-game in Mario Party 6.

Layout

The minigame takes place in a temple-themed area. At nighttime, the structures show Shadow Stars instead of Stars, the characters each have their headlights on, and lava can be seen on the left and right sides of the finish area each, replacing the tiles from daytime.

Gameplay

The objective for each character is to finish the course by guiding a six-wheeled vehicle. A character can move their vehicle using their front and back wheels. Obstacles along the way include Whomps, which block the path, Thwomps, which temporarily squishes whoever it falls on, and moving yellow bars toward the end, which also obstruct the players. Whoever crosses the finish line first wins.

The gameplay remains the same, regardless whether it is daytime or nighttime.
