Punch-a-Bunch is a 4-player mini-game in Mario Party 8.
Opening
The first player is walks across a bridge, over to the coast. They look down and see a giant shadow engulfing the ground they are on before looking up to see a large Bowser Statue falling from above and landing in front, startling them. The screen divides into four sections, and there is a boxing glove for each screen.
Gameplay
The objective is to break the statue first, so it is essentially a four-player version of Destruction Duet from Mario Party 2. The player holds the Wii Remote sideways and thrusts it forward to punch. As time goes by, the glove swells up, but if the player waits too long, it shrinks back down. When the player punches when the glove is swollen up, it is more powerful, making the statue require fewer punches to break. The player who breaks their statue first wins.
Ending
The statue explodes, and the winning player walks on the bridge, stops in the middle to celebrate, and continues walking across the bridge into the woods.
Controls
Hold the vertically, and thrust it forward when the glove is at its largest volume.
