Mario Party

Kartastrophe is a 4-player mini-game in Mario Party 8.

Opening

The characters, each driving a car, line up at the start/finish line. The lights count down, and when it turns green, the characters begin moving.

Gameplay

Kartastrophe is a kart racing minigame in which the characters must travel around the course twice to win the race and therefore become first within the mini-game.

Controls

  • Two Button: Accelerate
  • One Button: Reverse

  • The mini-game's title is a portmanteau of "kart" and "catastrophe."
