The Cannon Shot is the Special Shot used by Dixie Kong in Mario Hoops 3-on-3.
Description
The Cannon Shot can be activated by tapping out a triangle twice. When using the move, Dixie spins and dribbles the basketball in a triangle formation. The ball glows yellow with stars trailing behind it. Dixie then throws the basketball straight up, a Barrel Cannon falls and catches it, then Dixie backflips onto the Barrel Cannon and shoots the basketball into the hoop. The Cannon Shot finishes with a red explosion followed by multicolored confetti. If Dixie performs the move outside the 3-pointer line, one of her teammates has to catch the ball in order to complete the shot.
