Vanut Hold was the home of the Tiste noble Vanut family in Kurald Galain. Vanut Keep was located on the Dorssan Ryl northwest of Kharkanas and southeast of Hust Hold. It was a stone fortress of solid walls and squat towers built overlooking the road following the river.[1]
