The Iceblood were a group of people of close Jaghut descent who lived in the northern part of Assail just below the Ice Plain. They were grouped in small clans who lived in Holdings, each of which was dominated by a Greathall. Periodically, they would take mates from the Lowlands. This led to most of the Lowland population having some degree of Jaghut ancestry.
