Kimi Sato (砂藤 季美 Sato Kimi) is one of the supporting characters of the Maken-Ki! series. She is a 2nd year student at Tenbi Academy and the secretary of the Student Council Security Division.
Appearance
Kimi is a slightly pale-skinned girl with chin-length black hair that covers the left side of her face with a single strand sticking up, light purple eyes and a red headband.
Kimi has a slight short stature and slight build as she stands at 145cm.
Personality
Kimi has a great passion for manga, both reading and creating. She is willing to put in an intense amount of work when it comes to creating her own and finds the act of ruining other hard work for their own selfish pleasure to be unforgivable.
At first, she felt lonely and isolated among her peers, but after befriending Chacha Akaza, Kimi becomes much lively.

Comic Star - Born out of her love of manga, Kimi has the ability to alter things in the style of manga. Words she writes using her maken can affect the materialistic reality of objects such as turning rope into ice, or harden a boxing glove into stone. She is also able to apply action lines to a person which gives them flight and enhanced speed.
She can also materialize things in reality from her drawings.

Chacha is Kimi's friend through their mutual love of manga and anime.

- The name Kimi means "season" (季) (ki) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- Kimi's surname Sato means "sand" (砂) (sa) and "wisteria" (藤) (to).

- Kimi has displayed a telepathic connection to Minerva, although it is unknown if it a product of either of their abilities, or a connection between them.
- Kimi has a passion for drawing, despite the fact that she has no talent for it.
- Kimi has a fondness for big breasts liking Aki Nijou’s the best.
