Aki Nijou (二条 秋, Nijō Aki) is the supportive school nurse at Tenbi Academy, also acting as the staff advisor of the Student Council Security Committee - Maken-Ki. She was a first generation member of Maken-Ki along with her former classmates: Minori Rokujou, Tomika Amato, Gen Tagayashi and Akaya Kodai.
Background
By the time Aki was in elementary school she had already developed fairly large breasts. When asked by her mother what she wanted to be when she grew up, she stated that she wanted to be a wonderful wife like her mother with an equally amazing husband. Her mother assured her she would have no issues attracting men with her impressive chest, inspiring a young Aki to make her breasts even bigger in order to get the best man in the world.
Aki eventually became a student at Tenbi Academy and became close friends with Minori Rokujou. When Minori created Maken-Ki, she was appointed as the disciplinary member. Despite her serious position in the club, she was somewhat klutzy and often excited the male students due to the indecent nature of her accidents. Even Minori enjoyed teasing Aki's womanly body by having her wear suggestive outfits and fondling her breasts. One day during outdoor exercises, she saved Akaya Kodai from being hit by a pole, pushing him out of the way only to end up in an embarrassing position herself. With her gym uniform ruined, Akaya gave up his shirt out of thanks. Aki agreed with Minori that Akaya shouldn't be left alone, hoping to recruit him into Maken-Ki as well.
When Tenbi was infiltrated by a mysterious agent, Aki worked alongside the rest of Maken-Ki to help investigate the incident and protect the academy. After attempting to recruit Akaya with sex appeal, the club managed to draw out the infiltrator and worked together to defeat them, convincing Akaya to join Maken-Ki afterwards.
Appearance
Maken-Ki! Battling Venus
Aki is a beautiful and curvaceous, fair-skinned young woman who is rather tall and slender. She has light brown eyes (purple in s2) and waist-length blue hair, her "hair-intake" style features a single or a couple of cat-ear like protrusions from above her head, resembling the appearance of turbo air intakes that stand over the hood in some performance focused cars. She is noted for having the most largest bust size, along with a small waist, and wide hips.
Aki typically wears very revealing clothes; her usual attire includes a long white lab coat which she keeps open, underneath she wears a low-cut pink top showing much of her ample cleavage, a short dark red colored skirt, and white heels. Her underwear includes a light-colored lacy bra and light green panties, the panties being visible when her skirt rides up. When dining at Macaron, Aki is seen in a more casual outfit: a light pink short sleeved button-up blouse with a dark skirt. Her main accessory is a teal eye necklace, which is actually her Maken's physical form.
During the Maken-Ki welcoming party at the hot springs, Aki sports an extremely thin, light green sling swimsuit. While participating in the chicken fight competition, she competes in a blue and white one-piece school swimsuit.
Maken-ki! Two
Aki's hair is a slightly purple shade of blue and she has purple eyes rather than brown. Her outfit is similar to season 1, she keeps her long open lab coat as well as her eye necklace, except this necklace is blue. Beneath her lab coat she wears an equally revealing blue-gray top along with a short black skirt and matching black heels.
Aki had already developed large breasts by the time she was in elementary school, she is shown wearing a pink tank top and white frilled skirt at that time. During her student years at Tenbi Academy she wore a typical schoolgirl uniform: a buttoned up short sleeved white blouse with a blue collar and red ribbon necktie. She also wore a matching blue pleated skirt that she paired with black thigh-high stockings and white shoes. As a student she styled her hair in twin tails.
Personality
Aki is one of the most compassionate and gentle figures in all of Tenbi. She is often seen assisting students, especially Takeru Ooyama, dedicating significant time to help with his training and monitor his well-being. Aki takes her role as the school nurse seriously, performing various medical treatments to the students as well as simply helping out when needed, such as instructing classes and providing transportation. She is shown to be a very naively immodest person (i.e. a clothing klutz) when situations arise. A running gag of this personality quirk of hers is the fact that she is constantly shown revealing some part of her body - most commonly her panties - unintentionally.
Aki is considered to be a beautiful woman by many of the males throughout the series, and even some females appear to be envious of her body. Despite her maturity and attractive physique, Aki has never been in a relationship and is a confirmed virgin. She is rather self-conscious of this unfortunate fact, evidenced by her strong reactions when her virginity is revealed. Aki's purity is what leads to Takeru Yamato abducting her in order to use her body to break the seal at Amanohara. In Maken-ki! Two, her mother frequently tries to arrange marriages for her, which Aki constantly refuses, preferring to sort the matter for herself. After spending time with Takeru and hearing his many compliments, she starts to question whether she would be a good wife. Takeru later explains just how amazing she is and that he would marry her, giving Aki a lasting boost to her self-esteem.
Maken/Abilities
Valhelm - Aki's Maken is a debugger type, greatly improving her medical abilities. As seen when she uses her Maken against Ouken Yamato, it allows her to examine a target's body and see any physical damage as black spots in her vision, with darker areas representing greater damage. Valhelm is a physical Maken, taking the form of a small eye-shaped pendant necklace.
Element Spells - Aki is capable of casting spell techniques using her Element. She likely used this ability when battling with Akaya during the chicken fight in order to stay in midair. During the mission to rescue Kodama Himegami from Venus, Aki attempts to use a special sealing spell to release the barrier around the school. Aki also uses a spell to erase Takeru's short-term memory when he accidentally catches a glimpse of her underwear. When Minori notices Kai Kurigasa casting a spell during the Hime Kagura, she questions Aki if she had taught him. While under the control of Takeru Yamato, Aki unwillingly casts a spell to hold Takeru Yamato in place in order to prevent him from being sealed.
